Thank you for providing such an inspirational website. I used to work in the textile printing industry. My job was to prepare the artwork for printing on yardage and t.shirts. I have the experience in plate making/ colour separation. I am able to work on yardage and placement designs, the thing is I have been out of the industry for nearly 20 years and I would like to get back into it. I have 10 years industry experience, but all my work was done by hand, using rotary pens, brushes and opaque. Apparently the design technique has changed through the years, and I was wondering could somebody suggest what I may need to do to work in the industry again. It’s all I’ve ever known and that’s what I feel most comfortable doing. I am even quite happy to do freelance work which I have done in the past.
