Can I please inquire if you are related to the artist Maggie Saxby who created the textile art works that were exhibited in Falmouth’s Cabaret shop in the 1970’s.
I am now in my 60’s and I purchased the textile art work piece titled ‘Bananas’ that was shown in the photograph of the shop window that I observed in the Covent Garden’s shop website of the same name, positioned in the bottom left hand corner of the window. It was the piece with the bright red lips around a hand held yellow banana on a sky blue canvas background.
Thank you

Live in a cottage near the sea and the marsh decorated with whites and neutrals/touches of red; I’m also enthralled by handwork of all types, all things natural, colorful, have self taught myself many things such as felting, all types of silk work, joomchi, free-form knitting/crochet, eco & botanical printing,(on my near horizon encaustics incorporating my textiles) – I wanted you to know that I am saving this interview for inspiration. I love it! Thank you.
